RSE Project

The RSE Project is a non-profit based at Curtin University which provides support in the area of relationships and sexuality education. 

Services provided: 

Professional development for schools and school staff 

  • RSE Project hosts a large range of professional development opportunities for school staff including two-day workshops, after-school webinars, symposiums and bespoke training.

Freedom Centre

  • Online and in-person peer support service for young LGBTI+ people in WA. 
  • Free counselling service for LGBTI+ people.
  • Workshops and training available.

Freedom Centre

The Freedom Centre is a non-profit organisation that supports young LGBTI+ people in Perth and across WA.

Services include: 

Drop-in sessions

  • Hosts in-person drop-in session for LGBTI+ young people in Perth and hosts online sessions for those who cannot attend in person. 

Counselling services 

  • Counselling serivces for LGBTI+ young people, both in-person and online options are available.

SARC

  • Provides support and counselling for people over 13 years old who have experienced recent or past unwanted sexual contact or behaviour.

SARC is a free counselling and support service for anyone over 13 who has experienced unwanted sexual contact or behaviour. 

Serviced include:

  • 24-hour 7 days a week emergency service that can provide support to someone who has experienced unwanted sexual contact or behaviour in the last 2 weeks.

  • School educational programs on building resilience, road safety, alcohol and other drugs and making health choices.

School Drug Education and Road Aware

SDERA is run by the WA Department of Education and provides information and education to school-aged young people to make informed choices on drug use and road safety. 

Services include:
