Youth Affairs Council WA (YACWA) is a non-profit organisation which seeks to ensure young people's view and experiences are valued and included.

Services included:

Policy and advocacy

  • Conducts advocacy and policy advice on behalf of the interest of young people

Peer-led programs

  • Oversees the implementation of peer-led projects including the YEP Project, Youth Pride Network and Youth Homeless Advisory Council.

WAAC

  • Provides counselling services for young LGBTI+ people. 
  • Provides sexual health education for young people and professional development, 

WAAC

WAAC is a non-profit organisation which supports the sexual health and inclusion for all people in WA. WAAC seeks to reduce the impact of stigma and discrimination, reducing the transmission of HIV, STIs and blood-borne viruses and increasing access health services and information. 

Services include: 

Counselling 

  • Specialised counselling for LGBTI+ young people with a focus on relationships, gender sexuality and sexual health

TransFolk of WA

  • Provides social support for trans people and loved ones in WA through online and in-person social groups. 
  • Provides training to services on being more trans inclusive. 

TransFolk of WA

TransFolk of WA is a non-profit organisation which provides social support to trans people and advocacy for trans rights in WA. 

Services include: 

Online Facebook groups

  • Range of online hidden and private Facebook groups to ask questions, seek support and share experiences. They are specific groups for trans women, trans men, non-binary people, parents of trans people and partners of trans people.
